Trail Description
Trailhead is located at the Bridle Trail parking area, approximately 0.5 mile from the park entrance. The Long Loop is 17.3 miles long and starts and ends from the Bridle Trail parking area. For a brief time near Morrow Mountain, it joins the Short Loop and Middle Loop. The Duck Blind Cove Spur Trail can be accessed from the Long Loop. This trail travels through several different types of forest ecosystems and has one short trail section with great views of Lake Tillery. For a brief time, the trail also combines with the Hattaway Mountain Trail.
